Terms and Conditions – XTransfers

 

1. General Information

XTransfers is a private transportation service operated by XCars (the “Company”). By booking a transfer through our website or any communication channel, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

XTransfers is a direct transportation provider, not a broker or intermediary.

2. Services

XTransfers provides private transportation services, including:

  • Airport transfers
  • Intercity transfers
  • Private chauffeur services

All services are performed directly by XTransfers or its authorized drivers.

3. Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:

  • Pickup and drop-off location
  • Date and time
  • Number of passengers
  • Luggage details

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges or inability to provide the service.

4. Pricing

All prices are fixed and confirmed at the time of booking.

Prices include:

  • Vehicle and driver
  • Fuel and tolls
  • Standard waiting time

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Extra stops
  • Extended waiting time
  • Excess luggage
  • Special requests

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely via our payment provider.

By completing a booking, you agree to pay the full amount shown at checkout.

6. Cancellation Policy (Summary)

Detailed cancellation terms are defined in Section 10.

7. Changes to Booking

Customers may request changes subject to availability.

Additional charges may apply.

Changes are valid only after confirmation by XTransfers.

8. Waiting Time

Our drivers will wait at the agreed pickup location at the time specified in your booking confirmation.

Included waiting time:

  • Airports: up to 60 minutes free waiting time, starting from actual landing time
  • All other locations: up to 30 minutes free waiting time, starting from scheduled pickup time

If your flight/train/ferry is delayed:

  • waiting time is adjusted accordingly

If arrival is earlier:

  • pickup remains at the original scheduled time

Additional waiting time may be charged.

9. Luggage Policy

Customers must carefully consider luggage capacity when selecting a vehicle.

Standard allowance per passenger:

  • 1 medium suitcase (approx. 56 × 45 × 25 cm)
  • 1 piece of hand luggage

Total passengers and luggage must not exceed vehicle capacity.

Example:
A vehicle for 8 passengers booked for 4 passengers allows up to 8 suitcases and 8 hand luggage items.

10. CANCELLATION

10.1. Cancellation by Customer

All cancellation requests must be submitted via official communication channels:

  • Contact form on our website
  • Phone
  • WhatsApp / Viber / Email

A cancellation is considered valid only once it has been received and confirmed by XTransfers.

The time of request is determined based on our system records.

Cancellation Terms:

  • Within 5 days of booking: full refund (100%)
  • After 5 days from booking: non-refundable
  • No-show: non-refundable

10.2. Cancellation by XTransfers

If XTransfers cancels a service:

  • Customer receives a 100% refund

10.3. Booking Modifications

All modification requests must be submitted via official communication channels.

Changes are valid only after confirmation.

Important:

  • Price may change depending on modification
  • Price increase → must be paid
  • Price decrease → difference refunded

Requests within 24 hours before service:

  • Subject to availability
  • Not guaranteed

10.4. Travel Delays

In case of delays:

  • We monitor flights (if details are provided)
  • Waiting time adjusts automatically

If arrival is earlier:

  • Driver arrives at originally scheduled time

Customer must:

  • Be reachable
  • Inform us about changes

11. OUR CHANGES AND ADJUSTMENTS

XTransfers reserves the right to propose booking changes for:

  • Operational efficiency
  • Service quality

This may include:

  • Pickup time adjustments
  • Vehicle changes
  • Price adjustments

If incorrect booking details are provided:

  • We may update the booking
  • Customer will receive revised price

Customer may:

  • Accept changes
  • Or cancel under Section 10

12. NO-SHOW POLICY

A “no-show” occurs when:

  • Passenger does not appear at pickup location
  • Passenger is unreachable
  • Waiting time is exceeded

If customer does not respond to contact attempts:
→ booking is considered no-show

In such cases:

  • no refund will be issued

If customer arranges alternative transport without informing us:
→ service is considered completed

13. DELAYS AND LIABILITY

XTransfers is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Border crossings
  • Force majeure

14. FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure refers to extraordinary events beyond our control.

In such cases:

  • obligations may be suspended
  • XTransfers is not liable for delays or non-performance

Examples include:

  • natural disasters
  • strikes
  • government restrictions
  • pandemics
  • war

We will attempt to:

  • inform customers
  • offer alternatives where possible

15. PASSENGER CONDUCT

We may refuse or terminate service if a passenger:

  • behaves dangerously
  • is under influence
  • damages property
  • acts aggressively

No refund will be issued in such cases.

Passengers are financially responsible for any damage caused.

16. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

By using our service, you accept risks such as:

  • delays
  • accidents
  • external disruptions

You agree to:

  • follow safety instructions
  • be fit to travel

17. CLAIMS, DISPUTES AND LIABILITY

Complaints must be submitted within 10 days.

We will respond within 30 days.

Liability is limited to:

  • the value of the service

Jurisdiction:

  • Republic of Croatia
  • Court in Zagreb

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content is owned by XTransfers.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

19. DATA PROCESSING (GDPR)

XTransfers processes personal data in accordance with GDPR.

20. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

Data is used for:

  • booking
  • service delivery
  • communication

21. PERSONAL DATA

We may collect:

  • name
  • contact
  • travel details

Retention:

  • up to 11 years

22. OUR OBLIGATIONS

We ensure:

  • legal data processing
  • data protection

23. YOUR RIGHTS

You may:

  • access
  • correct
  • delete data

Requests processed within:

  • 30 days

24. FINAL PROVISIONS

We may update these Terms at any time.

Invalid clauses do not affect the rest.
